Who Are we?

about the owner

My name is Matthew Sears and I am the lead inspector and owner of CaseNpoint Home Inspections. I began as an apprentice in 2016 which eventually led me to get my professional home inspector license and my own company. I have been a full time firefighter since 2013. I have been married to my beautiful wife Melissa since 2019. We have a funny, energetic and playful little boy, who is my inspiration behind the name of my company. I have always had a deep passion for helping my community which has led me to being a firefighter and a home inspector. Inspecting homes allows me to help others by giving them a clear picture of what they are investing in. 

I have over 200 hours of continuing education and am always striving to learn about the latest technology and changes in homes. The building industry is an ever changing world and I take it as my responsibility to the client to always stay on top of it. It is my goal not to just inspect your home, but to build a relationship.
